This is May 2024 and the video is two years old… Comments are 1-2 years old and very few in this time period! I see a second site on I-95 in Ga, with cameras, but I haven’t tried to check it out! Franchise sign-up mention in video 2-years ago, do not seem to be available on website! I have actually called about 18-months ago and got an uninformed young girl who said the Founder was on vacation for two weeks and again about a year ago and got some guy who was busy and would call back… never happened! I have freed up some time and am currently beginning to develop a Business Plan with others, looking into a concept where low cost drive throughs could be developed quickly with a different Marketing Plan! The Founder says he was overwhelmed, had Spy’s, Patented his idea… all of which sounds like he simply cannot run a business… don’t have the money and his not able to raise money, preferring to try to Franchise, using other people’s money, while spending a fortune on legal expense and capital expense being pawned off on individuals! Personally, I would not buy a Franchise from these people, simply because they cannot support me other than some centralized scheduling software, which is easily created! There simply is no Patent on an idea, possibly a copyright for the name, but imagine if KOA could Patent the RV Campground concept! 😁

Oh, hon! Parkside is NOT easy to get into! It's a popular area and is always full! I've been trying for two years and finally got one.

I noticed on site 98 it has a handicap sign, do you need to have a handicap card to book these sites? It doesn’t say anything about handicap restrictions online when booking. Thanks

This campground had the most rude receptionist I have ever dealt with and possibly the dirtiest restroom/shower facilities ever seen. We picked it because of the proximity to Carlsbad Caverns main entrance but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Only if all parks were this cool. Riverbend is 1st waterpark i ever went to as a 2 yrold. It gave me a temporary fear of water. Not bc of the park but due to having a deadbeat dad at the time.

Boring! Try ANY state park in the western U.S. They are ALL much prettier than this. My favorite state park is Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park. It's located just an hours drive northeast of Las Vegas. The area it's in is FILLED with natural and man made attractions. Look it up online.

I wonder how much dry camping/dispersed due to solar & StarLink has affected them. I have paid yearly but haven’t been to KOA since 2021. I will be using up my points (lots!)in 2024 & not be a member anymore. No issues with CG’s. I just don’t need any more. After Covid, I’m on the "people avoidance plan"😂

Cracker Barrel, Cabela’s & Walmart do let you stay for free. But, a responsible person knows, you should purchase something. Especially the places that also provide electricity. Even when I stop@gas station just for restroom, I buy something for $2 or so. It’s just basically saying Thank You.
